Alamonk Recyclers at RAN Conference 2025: Advancing the Circular Economy in Nigeria

Alamonk Recyclers proudly participated in the 2nd Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Recyclers Association of Nigeria (RAN), held on May 1, 2025, at the White Jade Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. With the theme “Recycling for Prosperity: Creating Jobs, Growing Economies”, the event brought together recyclers, policy leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from across the country to drive conversations that matter in the circular economy.

The conference served as a strategic platform for knowledge sharing, partnerships, and innovation. Through high-level keynotes, policy dialogues, and solution-driven panels, stakeholders explored how recycling can serve as a vehicle for national development, economic empowerment, and environmental regeneration.

As an active member of RAN, Alamonk Recyclers contributed meaningfully to the event, with our representative Mr. Cajetan Okeke participating in a pivotal panel discussion on “Regulatory Gaps and Opportunities.” His contributions emphasized the need for harmonized regulations, grassroots engagement, and enabling policies to support recyclers and aggregators in Nigeria.

The event culminated in a prestigious awards ceremony, and we are thrilled to announce that Alamonk Recyclers was named the South East Regional Champion, a recognition of our leadership in sustainable waste management, community empowerment, and innovative recycling practices in the region.

This award is more than an accolade, it is a testament to our enduring commitment to building a cleaner, more inclusive, and circular future. It energizes us to scale our impact, advocate for stronger policies, and strengthen our community partnerships.

We thank RAN, our fellow recyclers, sponsors, and every voice pushing for a more sustainable Nigeria. The work continues, and Alamonk Recyclers remains at the forefront of the movement.

Together, let’s turn waste into wealth and potential into prosperity.
